Who we are

Letra da Lei operates the website letradalei.com and related services. For privacy matters, contact us at juridico@letradalei.com.

Data we collect

We collect a limited amount of personal data. This includes: your email address, when you create an account or sign in through our authentication flow, including via external login providers; the content of the queries and searches you direct to Letra da Lei's tools when you use our integration; and usage and diagnostic data, such as date/time, the feature invoked, and the results returned, used to operate and improve the service.

How we use your data

We use your data to operate the integration and return legal research results; maintain your account and authentication; assess and improve the quality and relevance of responses; prevent abuse and fraud and ensure security; and send product communications and service updates. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis

We process your account data and your queries to perform a contract or take preliminary steps at your request (Art. 7, V of the LGPD). We process usage data for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement based on legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX). Where a different legal basis is required for a specific activity, we will rely on that basis as applicable.

Sharing

We use service providers that process personal data on our behalf, under our instructions, for purposes such as hosting, authentication, storage, sending emails, and operating the service infrastructure. When you access Letra da Lei through a third-party AI assistant, the messages you send pass through that assistant's platform, subject to its own privacy policy and terms. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.

Integration with AI assistants

Letra da Lei is offered as an integration that you enable inside an AI assistant of your choice. When you use it, the queries you direct to our tools are sent to Letra da Lei for processing and to return results. The AI assistant you use is a third-party service, controlled by its respective provider, and your use of it is governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms.

International data transfers

Processing and storage of your account data and queries take place on infrastructure located in Brazil. If you use a third-party AI assistant based abroad, the processing carried out by that provider may involve international data transfers under Arts. 33 et seq. of the LGPD, subject to applicable safeguards.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account data, queries, and usage data to operate, secure, and improve the service, as well as to meet legal obligations and resolve disputes when applicable. You may request deletion of your data, subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements.

Your rights

Subject to the LGPD and applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access to your personal data, correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, anonymization, blocking or deletion where applicable, portability where applicable, and information about data sharing. You may also object to certain processing and submit a complaint to the ANPD. To exercise your rights, contact juridico@letradalei.com.

Cookies

We do not describe any active analytics or advertising cookies in this policy. If we adopt cookies or similar tracking technologies in the future, this policy may be updated accordingly.

We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
